Upon arrival in Costa Rica, you must show a valid passport. You must also have a valid onward or return ticket. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date.
Immigration authorities require proof of sufficient economic means, typically at least US$100 per month of stay. Travelers must also present a return ticket or proof of onward travel to another country.
Upon arrival, each person will need to complete an immigration form which will be presented to an immigration officer.
